Our growth continued as South Carolina Federal employees and a Credit Union match drove local investments up to $500,000.

By expanding our membership capabilities, anyone in our communities could now donate $5 to the Foundation's causes and become a South Carolina Federal member.

With more people involved, donations reached the $1 million milestone, a significant accomplishment in only a handful of years.

At a time of worldwide uncertainty, those who supported our Foundation contributed even more allowing us to reach $1.5 million in donations in just seven short years.

As our Credit Union’s footprint expanded to serve the entire state, so did the Foundation’s impact. Since its inception in 2013, the Foundation has positively impacted its communities through $1.9 million in donations and is committed to doing even more to help South Carolinians thrive.

With the combined efforts of South Carolina Federal Credit Union, its dedicated employees, and members, distributions have reached a milestone of $2 million. This significant achievement underscores the commitment of the credit union to serve its local charities. We look forward to continuing this journey and making an even greater impact in the future.

Since our inception in 2013, the South Carolina Federal Credit Union Foundation has donated more than $2.5 million in support of our mission. To expand our impact, we introduced an online giving platform, allowing donations to be made easily and securely.

In 2025, we launched our inaugural Member Give Day, a special fundraising event created to engage and empower SC Federal members. Through this effort, members generously contributed $4,038. These funds will be used to support the Foundation’s Small Grant Program, helping strengthen organizations and initiatives within our communities.
